Hello
I'm Lindsey
UX Research Leader,
Communication Strategist,
& International Adventurer
I investigate how people think, feel, and behave to help build and market products that users love and need. My recent research has impacted GenAI and machine learning systems that affect billions of users across Meta apps. Read more about my team's work - AI @ Meta.

My passion is engaging with users across national borders and representing culturally diverse voices and experiences in product strategy and design -- because international partnerships make the world a better place.

I leverage 13+ years in social science research to scale impact of strategic insights and to facilitate evidence-based decisions for product development and process execution.

I've led teams, plus worked as the sole researcher in highly technical spaces, to spearhead foundational research for 0-1 innovation, evaluative research for product launches and feature roadmapping, and continuous research for longitudinal measurement and ongoing discovery.

Whether leading org-wide UX strategy sessions or problem solving in sprints, I build cross-functional networks across product, data science, design, engineering, and marketing. I collaborate with VP and executive levels to align on business goals and market opportunities.

I'm endlessly curious about how culture affects product design and user engagement. I've traveled to 40 countries and led empirical research with geographically dispersed stakeholders, including field research in Japan and Vietnam and remote data collection in 36 countries across North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia.

Before pivoting into tech, I was a business school professor at the University of Southern California. I directed research teams plus taught courses about management, international commerce, and communication strategy.

I earned a Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee. My journey into UX began by measuring task performance, biometrics, and message effects for clients’ digital products in the UT User Experience Lab. Go Vols!
